Today our little man is 2 weeks old! It is so hard to believe he is 2 weeks it just seems like i had him yesterday! Will is a very strong little man he was laying on the couch the other night and he rolled from his back to his stomach! Wow is what i said. He also tries to scoot and was able to move his body off one cushion to the other cushion. I thought that it was a little soon but i guess we just have a very smart and strong little boy!

Did you know that when you bring home your new baby from the hospital their skin is 5 times thinner than an adult? I was not aware of that until I was doing some reading! So why would you want to use all the baby lotions that have all the synthetic chemicals in them because those chemicals are going right into your baby skin! So that is why we use organic baby lotion,baby wash,and baby oil. We want the best for our little guy and most parents should want the same! So we went to the doctor today and guess what Will has gained 1lb exactly since we left the hospital! The doctor said at two weeks they normally are just back to the birth weight but he is 10 ounces more than his birth weight yay! Maybe his newborn clothes will fit soon! The newborn clothes say 5-8 lbs but let me tell you thats a lie because all his clothes fall off of him and he weighs 7lbs 8 ounces now! His newborn rash is gone but now we are fighting another one! But the doctor says it should go anyway in a week or so thank goodness than i think we will be all good!

So i was wondering why it was taking Will so long to eat a couple of ounces and i have realized why now! And why he always has gas i realized why now!! Well actually my mom told me about it we use the drop in bottles which are really good bottles and stuff but once you pour the milk you need to push the bag up to the top to release the air! It was so great to learn that now he eats so much faster and less gas yay!!
As everyone knows when you have a new baby everyone normally comes to the hospital but when you have friends in college and the hospital is 2 hours away it makes it hard for them to make it to the hospital so Will finally got to meet Meagan today and he really loves her! She just held him and we all know he loves to be held! Meagan was only here a few hours and i really wish she could have stayed longer to spend time with us because it will probably be a few weeks before we get to see her again. I am just happy she had time to come see us this weekend.

Today baby William finally got to meet his Great Nana and his Great Aunt! It was great! They came over to gram's house and they brought us the best diapers ever. Pampers Swaddlers!!! And you know when we come to gram's house she takes pictures and she got some really great pictures of us today! William had the cutest little pair of overalls on and he just loves his gram to take pictures of him as you see he is just so happy in the pictures!!!

Mommy took some pictures with baby william today also and they are so sweet you can never have to many pictures. They grow up so fast and so you can always look back on them once they grow up and will always have the pictures to show William once he gets older!

Sleepin Good
So as everyone knows when you have a newborn baby your sleep seems to disappear. Your normally up about ever 2 hours or so and never really feel rested. Well fortunately he has not been as bad as most baby are he sleeps for about 3 hours each time and he just wakes up to eat and have his diaper changed! But last night he slept for about 5 1/2 hour straight no waking up! yay it was awesome!!! I have realized that when he is hungry ever hour and a 1/2 that the 2 ounces is not enough so i started giving him about 3 1/2 ounces and he only wants to eat about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours!

Today baby William is 1 week old! Wow where has the week went! Well then again it has been a real busy week! Doctors Appointment,Great granny left, Grams Birthday and everyone loving on baby William! Things have changed so much within the first week of baby Williams life it started off he was waking up about every hour and a half now he wakes up about every 3 hours to eat! Which is great because everyone is getting sleep now! Yay! It has been a blessing experiencing all the changes that we have been through since he has been here this week!
So yesterday was gram's birthday and it was a busy day!! While we were over there Gram loves to take
pictures and so that being said gram took pictures of us today! Alot of them!!
As the day went by mommy and baby william got so wore out but as you see grams was still snapping pictures of us as we were asleep on the couch!

Well last night went a lot better than the one before! Even though I know I probably shouldn't I let william sleep with us last night. He only only woke up every 31/2 hours which is really nice because we had to wake up at 6:00 this morning to take my granny to the buss station in the big city which is about 30 mins away. She is now heading down south to see one of her daughters. It was really a blessing having her here and she helped out soo much. My Mom is still here and she is a help also. Both of them came in for the birth of William and have stayed with us to help out while sleep is so sparse! I have found to sleep when he sleeps and be awake when he is!
